The kids in my Saturday hand-building class @districtclaycenter love the days when we get out the underglazes and they get to paint their pieces. The “splatter station” is a particular favorite!

I’ve been experimenting with a series of vases loosely inspired by seed pods, and After the Fall I is one of the first I made. It was lovely to see it last night in the Art League’s October show!

Friday’s Art All Night was a great celebration of the Mount Pleasant community! I enjoyed seeing old friends and neighbors and meeting new ones. And I appreciated the opportunity to show off my wares.
